Lippy Girl Makeup - New In Singapore!

Hello

*NEW* Vegan Friendly Makeup!

Lippy Girl Makeup has the primary goal of producing professional quality cosmetics. The cosmetics with the Lippy Girl label are eco-friendly, natural, organic, vegetarian and animal friendly.  Neither our products nor ingredients are tested on animals, and our ingredients are natural, organic, vegetarian and will never contain chemical preservatives.

To be honest, I have never heard of this brand before, cause I assume its not available here in Singapore. I had the honour to try out a few of the lipsticks that were sent to me for review purposes by the main distributor for Lippy Girl Makeup, Gulsha. Thank you.

When I received the package last week, I got a little excited when I opened it because it was package in a pinky lilac box!

A sleek black metal tube which is very sturdy and heavy too

Lip shimmer stick

Beware its gonna be a little picture heavy!
Looking at the colour chart provided, No.1 caught my eyes first! The other 2 I picked were No.7 & No.10

                                    L-R: No.10 Rosie Posie, No.1 Abraca-bam, No.7 Snog Me

My final thoughts

Packaging:
I love the sturdy sleek black packaging. Although it is heavy but I feel that its not often you can get a sturdy packaging in a lipstick.

Colour and staying power:
The choice of colours are pretty basics. You get the reds, nudes, browns as well as a colour of the year, which is Abraca-bam.

However, I was a little disappointed of how my first choice of colour swatches. It takes many swipes to get to medium intensity. I was hoping it to be more opaque and matte but it ended up a little metallic to my liking. The other two shades were more moisturising then the purple one. And colour comes off easily then the purple one.

Staying power is not the best nor the worst. Average of 4 hours just like most lipsticks does on my lips. The shimmer stick is the most moisturising out of all and great for those who don't often apply lipsticks. It gives a nice sheen to your lips without adding any colour.

All in all, I would say its an ok lipstick. Given my huge stash of lip products, I don't see myself reaching for this often.

V10 Plus skincare review

Hello,

In the previous post, I talked about my experience in attending V10 Plus workshop and how I enjoyed it. For me, if the workshop is fun, interesting and informative, I would usually not hesitate to buy their products, and so I came did a small haul. Before I go into my review, I thought it would be interesting to talk a little bit more on the products they have to offer. As it is a skincare brand, the range of products they have to offer are quite extensive.

While they have basic care like cleansers and moisturisers, what caught my interest and attention is definitely their serums. Not only they come in colourful bottles that represents different concerns, they come in 2 sizes as well! If you are someone like me, who loves trying new things, the 10ml bottles which retails for $59 each, are perfect for those who travel often too. The 30ml bottles which retails at $159 each are definitely worth your money.

If you would like to know what are different type of serums or other products they have to offer, head over to their website . Do not be overwhelmed by it as there is a skin counselling survey which you can take to find which serums suits you best.

Images taken from their websites

What I love about these serums is that you don't have to change your whole skincare routine! You can use these serums as a skin supplement to your current skincare routine. Easy! And they have serums for each skincare concerns like sensitive skin series, hydrating series, anti-aging series and many more.

And if you have more that one serums to combat your different skin problems, all you have to do is just mix one drop from each serum and apply! I feel like a scientist when I do that!

So what did I get?

My thoughts

I love it. It definitely makes my skin look brighter and smoother. Even my sister commented that my skin looks good and different! I love the colourful glass bottles and I do not have to change my skincare routine even though I have 4 new serums to add. I would definitely want to get more of the serums. FYI, the picture is not edited! No photoshop, no filter! LOVE LOVE!

V10 Plus Workshop at Japanese Association

Hello,

During the pageant, the finalists were invited to V10 Plus workshop over at Japanese Association to learn more about their skincare.

V10 Plus is from Japan and it is the world's first skin supplement concept.
It basically means that you can use V10 Plus serum inconjuction with your current skincare.

Mrs. Akiko Yokota, founder and CEO of V10 Plus is " Beautiful skin = Clean, Bright, glowing skin without any makeup."

We were privileged to get to meet Mrs. Akiko in person and her skin is the prove to the effectiveness of the serums!

The 10 points of the serums are:
•No paraben
•No artificial colour
•No mineral oil
•Ni chemical fragrance
•Water based
•Customised serums for 10 skin problems
•Dermatologist-tested
•Visible results in just 10 days
•Colour therapy fron colourful bottles
•Made in Japan

With their 5 key ingredients being:
- AC -2
- Soybean Extract
- Rose Centifolia
- Ruce Bran Extract
- Seaweed Extract

During the workshop, we get to test all their products from all the colourful bottles. We all got excited upon seeing how colourful the bottles are. While we learn more about the products, we were also given a skin analysis sheet to determine which serum/s we need for our skin.

At the end of the workshop, we were given an order form to purchase the products. While we eat and discuss away what we bought, I picked up 4 serums!

To know more about the different serums, look out for my review post soon!
