Lippy Girl Makeup - New In Singapore!

Hello

*NEW* Vegan Friendly Makeup!

Lippy Girl Makeup has the primary goal of producing professional quality cosmetics. The cosmetics with the Lippy Girl label are eco-friendly, natural, organic, vegetarian and animal friendly.  Neither our products nor ingredients are tested on animals, and our ingredients are natural, organic, vegetarian and will never contain chemical preservatives.

To be honest, I have never heard of this brand before, cause I assume its not available here in Singapore. I had the honour to try out a few of the lipsticks that were sent to me for review purposes by the main distributor for Lippy Girl Makeup, Gulsha. Thank you.

When I received the package last week, I got a little excited when I opened it because it was package in a pinky lilac box!

A sleek black metal tube which is very sturdy and heavy too

Lip shimmer stick

Beware its gonna be a little picture heavy!
Looking at the colour chart provided, No.1 caught my eyes first! The other 2 I picked were No.7 & No.10

                                    L-R: No.10 Rosie Posie, No.1 Abraca-bam, No.7 Snog Me

My final thoughts

Packaging:
I love the sturdy sleek black packaging. Although it is heavy but I feel that its not often you can get a sturdy packaging in a lipstick.

Colour and staying power:
The choice of colours are pretty basics. You get the reds, nudes, browns as well as a colour of the year, which is Abraca-bam.

However, I was a little disappointed of how my first choice of colour swatches. It takes many swipes to get to medium intensity. I was hoping it to be more opaque and matte but it ended up a little metallic to my liking. The other two shades were more moisturising then the purple one. And colour comes off easily then the purple one.

Staying power is not the best nor the worst. Average of 4 hours just like most lipsticks does on my lips. The shimmer stick is the most moisturising out of all and great for those who don't often apply lipsticks. It gives a nice sheen to your lips without adding any colour.

All in all, I would say its an ok lipstick. Given my huge stash of lip products, I don't see myself reaching for this often.

ITOH Collagen Powder Review

Hello

Today's post will be a review on the ITOH Collagen Powder drink which is endorsed by Taiwan Beauty Guru of Lady's First, Kevin.

What it is?

Colour-less, Tasteless, Non-Sugar, Non-fat Collagen Powder
Contain 3000mg of Collagen per sachets, that can be dissolve to any drink or soup. Can be taken throughout the day

Using a special technology to extract collagen from Pig cartilage and Pig Skin and conform to a powder form.
Low Molecular powder enhance the absorption of collagen, to capture all the benefits that collagen contributes.

Suitable for both male and female, 18 years and above, all you need is just 1 sachet a day.

My Thoughts:

Having tried a few collagen drinks, this is the first time I come across a collagen drink which you can mix with your soup, drink, milk, honey etc. My first reaction; will it change the taste of my drink? Fret not! It is tasteless, just like it claims. However, there was an after taste when I mix it with my chilled mango juice. Also it clumps in my drink. I assume that it will be colourless if you mix it with something warm and won't have any clumps.

The small sachet is also convenient for you to throw it in your handbag. I also do not have to worry about reminding myself to drink it a few times a day because you only need 1 a day, anytime of the day.

With all beauty products, you will not get immediate results, which is the case for me here. So I can't say much on whether this will make you stay young forever.

It is great if you are looking for a collagen drink but hate the taste or smell of most collagen drinks. This is also suitable for all skin types.

Where to buy?

Available at Guardian, the ITOH Collagen Powder retails for $49.90 (14 sachets). You can also try a sample sachet by heading over to SampleStore's website

MygenLife Beauty Collagen Nectar Drink

Hello,

In today's post, I will be introducing a new brand of an all natural, great tasting health drink from MygenLife.

Product Information

Beauty Collagen Nectar drink uses an intensive formula to improve the water binder that help to keep your skin supple, radiant and firm. With skin sufficiently hydrated and depleted collagen levels regularly replenished, wrinkle-free, rosy and supple look can be yours in just 28 days. **

Main Ingredients

- Collagen ( fish, 12,000mg ) This is the highest concentration of collagen in a drink. It ensure that your skin gets the maximum collagen it losses due to aging.
Green Tea is a rich in polyphenols that fight free radicals. The antioxidants present in Green Tea helps to slow down the aging process helping you look younger.
Mangoesteen known as the “Queen of Fruits “ contains naturally occurring xanthones, antioxidants and many nutrients which are beneficial to your body and helps slow down the aging process.
Optiberry is a unique blend of berries including blueberry, strawberry, cranberry bilberry, elderberry and raspberry to provide the maximum antioxidant for the whole body

Directions: 1 bottle a day

My thoughts:

Honestly, it is hard to tell if the drink does help to keep my skin supple, radiant or firm as results may only be seen in 28 days. Since I had only 6 bottles of these, I have not yet seen any results so far. As for the taste, it tasted like cough medicine, except milder and also smell like one. To me, it does not taste that bad but does not taste as nice as other collagen drink that I have tried before. What I like about this is that it only requires 1 bottle a day, unlike the other drink I tried which requires about 2 to 3 times a day. The price of $49.90 a box (6 bottles in a box, 50ml each bottle), is also more affordable to me than other collagen drinks.

Available at Guardian and also online here , it comes in 5 different variations: Slimming, Detox, Beauty Collagen, Whitening and Bustful. You can also head over to Samplestore.com for more information on MygenLife products.

Introducing the NEW Hada Labo SHA 'Light' Hydrating Lotion

Hello

Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion is not something new in the market. It is the bestselling hydrating lotion in Japan (1 sold every 2 seconds) and now, it is the bestselling hydrating lotion in Singapore too. In 2013, Hada Labo introduces the NEW  'Light' Hydrating Lotion. Specially formulated for those with oily and combination skin, it is lighter in texture and more refreshing.

Here's why:

My thoughts:

I was already in love with the original formula and now a formula for my skin type, what's not to love about it. My skin loves it, I love it! I don't just use this after cleansing, I use it any time of the day to 'freshen up' my skin when I have no makeup at all!

Would like to try this? Head over to Samplestore(dot)com to redeem your free sample of the 'Light' Hydrating Lotion.
